Concrete Formsetter/Carpenter

Responsibilities

• Construct and set concrete forms for footings, walls, and slabs to the desired depth and pitch
• Ensure forms are properly built and aligned before each concrete pour
• Load, haul, and carry materials and equipment to the work area
• Bend, form, tie, and install rebar and wire mesh as needed
• Install fixtures and hardware in freshly poured concrete
• Operate a variety of hand and power tools
• Maintain a clean and safe job site at the end of each day
• Complete additional tasks as assigned by the foreman or superintendent

Requirements

• Background in concrete or form work is required
• Must be able to handle heavy materials and equipment on a regular basis
• Knowledge of concrete forms, rebar, and general concrete construction
• Comfortable operating hand and power tools
• Able to work flexible hours, including overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Reliable, punctual, and works well with a team
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites
• Ability to pass a federal criminal background check and drug screening
