Concrete Foreman - El Paso

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and drawings, and perform field measurements and level checks with precision.
• Lead and supervise concrete crews at all stages (slump, placement, finishing, curing).
• Contribute to short-term planning and logistics.
• Monitor work productivity and adjust work schedules to meet project timelines and budgets.
• Ensure proper installation of forms, inserts, anchor bolts, waterstops, and openings.
• Inspect work to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work site.
• Coordinate work with supervisors, inspectors, and other trades.
• Solve on-site problems and maintain workflow.
• Ensure tools, equipment, and materials are accounted for at the end of each shift.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in concrete construction, preferably in water/sewerage projects or heavy infrastructure.
• 1+ years of experience as a foreman or in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of form systems, bar placement, and finishing techniques.
• Proven ability to lead crews and manage operations in the field.
• Ability to read and sketch plans with minimal supervision.
• Experience coordinating concrete placements (pumps, trucks, sequences).
• Experience with production control, programming, and costing.
• OSHA certifications or other safety certifications (preferred).
• Better attendance record and professional references.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Comfortable working in various conditions (heat, wind, confined spaces, heights).
• Ability to climb ladders, scaffolding, and move around active construction sites.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
