About the role
A Concrete Finisher is responsible for placing, leveling, smoothing, and finishing concrete surfaces on commercial projects.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, pour, and finish concrete according to specifications.
- Operate hand and power tools, including trowels and vibrators.
- Set forms, verify alignment, grade, and depth.
- Apply surface treatments like broom finishes and sealers.
- Repair and resurface existing concrete surfaces.
- Follow blueprints and site instructions, ensuring safety compliance.
- Maintain tools and work area cleanliness.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure project completion.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Knowledge of concrete finishing, curing, and placement techniques.
- Ability to read construction plans and operate tools safely.
- Physical ability to lift up to 75 pounds, stand, bend, and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance.
- Experience with foundations, slabs, and flatwork is preferred.
Pay
Competitive pay ($20–$30 USD per hour).
