About the role
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Concrete Crew Laborer to join our construction team. In this role, you’ll assist with various tasks involved in pouring, leveling, finishing, and curing concrete for residential, commercial, and/or industrial projects. This is a hands-on, physical job requiring attention to detail, safety awareness, and a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities
- Assist in site prep, including digging, grading, and setting forms
- Load, unload, and move materials and tools to job sites
- Break up existing concrete with hand tools or power tools
- Remove broken concrete and other debris from work area
- Helps to pour and spread wet concrete
- Collects and cleans concrete tools when the job is completed
- Maintain a clean and organized job site
- Support other crew members and take direction from supervisors
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous construction or concrete work experience preferred, but not required
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly and work on your feet in varying weather
- Comfortable working with power tools, hand tools, and machinery
- Reliable transportation and punctuality are a must
- Willingness to learn and grow with the team
- Basic understanding of safety practices and ability to follow directions
- Valid Drivers License preferred
- Ability to work long hours, including weekends and evenings, as needed
- Must be willing to travel overnight when projects are outside the local area
