Concierge - PT

Responsibilities

• Greet all visitors to the community and answer the telephone, transferring calls to the appropriate party and taking accurate messages.
• Monitor walkie-talkie, door security system, and fire panel as needed.
• Monitor resident sign-in and sign-out log and the visitor registration log.
• Complete administrative support functions such as filing and making copies.
• Transfer calls or take messages in a courteous, friendly, and helpful manner.
• Fill out and log service request forms for residents and/or staff.
• Monitor and greet visitors to the community.
• Keep front desk and lobby area clean and neat at all times.
• Sell meal tickets and account for payments via payroll deduction or personal check.
• Ensure the security of the building by periodically checking entrances/exits.
• Attend in-services and staff meetings as required.
• Assist with coordinating van schedule for residents.
• Follow confidentiality policies regarding release of resident information.
• Perform supportive office functions for all departments including filing, typing, and making copies.
• Complete all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Considerate, neat, well-groomed, and professional in appearance; must dress in a professional manner.
• Experience in administration functions.
• Polite and professional phone etiquette.
• Organized and able to work well with others as part of a team.
• Polite and considerate to residents, visitors, co-workers, and management team.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to sit for extended periods of time.
• Able to function effectively in a busy environment and multitask.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule that includes weekends and holidays.
• Must attend all required in-services and staff meetings.
