Concierge/CNA
About the role
Lansdowne Village seeks compassionate and thoughtful individuals who share our passion for exceptional care in senior living. As part of a small team environment, you'll partner with a vast network of skilled nursing centers to support our high-quality care.
Responsibilities
- Room checks - OPEN ROOMS to make sure they are tour ready and move in ready
- Identify and prepare for pending admissions - work closely with the marketing and admissions department
- Identify and prepare for pending discharges - work with Social Services on this
- Review the daily menu - check on residents' needs/wants
- Answer call lights
- Schedule with families on admission the 72-hour meeting and attend them as well
- Avoids assisting dietary and nursing on passing of snacks if needed
- Maintain a “look who is going home” message board outside the therapy area (if resident gives their approval)
- Answer all questions a family or resident may have (if not able to answer, tell them you will find the answer or have the department follow up with them to answer their questions)
- Notify resident about center activities (i.e., bingo, cooking, entertainment, etc.)
- Check equipment in the rooms
- Maintain rooms clean
- Additional jobs as assigned
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or general equivalency is preferred
- Must have valid CNA license in the state of Missouri
- One year of experience is preferred
