About the Role
The Concierge will ensure a best-in-class experience for members, guests, and prospects by providing personalized concierge services, including activity and event reservations, sightseeing suggestions, transportation, dining, and accommodations.
Responsibilities
- Provide personalized and professional concierge services, including:
- On-property activity bookings
- Adventure and experience referrals and bookings
- Ground transportation arrangements
- Shuttle information and schedules
- Restaurant referrals
- Children’s activity requests and babysitting referrals
- Special occasions, celebrations, and unique requests
- Accommodations for special needs and requirements
- Manage pre-arrival and post-arrival communications for members, guests, and prospects.
- Answer incoming calls and emails promptly, demonstrating responsiveness and area knowledge.
- Warmly greet members, guests, and prospects visiting the club.
- Register members and guests, and collect guest waivers.
- Maintain comprehensive club and activity information for members and guests.
- Provide curated recommendations for available activities and services.
- Notify members and ensure they are informed about club offerings.
- Maintain member and guest family profiles (e.g., birthdays, favorite foods, allergies, interests).
- Prepare and send thank-you letters, greeting cards, and arrange surprises (e.g., flowers, adventure experiences).
- Update CRM, membership software, and systems; maintain member and guest records.
- Provide daily reports on member/guest arrivals, preferences, and special events to staff.
- Receive, store, and deliver mail and luggage.
- Perform on- or off-site errands for members/guests, including deliveries.
- Manage the club’s “lost and found” program.
- Provide business services such as shipping packages and printing assistance.
- Assist the events team with planning and scheduling special events.
- Support the membership team with member relations, welcome packages, and orientations.
- Work closely with teams to enhance and improve the member experience.
- Attend team, department, and company-wide meetings as required.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED equivalent, or higher (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of three to five years of experience in a resort, club, or hospitality setting.
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software (experience with Salesforce preferred).
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
- Positive attitude with the ability to remain flexible and patient.
- Strong multitasking and administrative skills.
Skills
- Experience with Word, Adobe, Outlook, and Excel.
- Ability to manage multiple software platforms and demonstrate strong computer skills.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to visually inspect all work areas.
- Capability to operate computers for extended periods.
- Ability to stand, walk, push, pull, lift, grasp, twist, and bend for extended amounts of time.
- Lift up to 50 lbs occasionally, 25 lbs frequently, and 10 lbs constantly.
