Facility: Rehabilitation Center of Orlando Location: Orlando, FL Schedule: Full-Time Pay Rate: $18.00–$23.00 per hour Make a Difference from the Moment Residents Arrive We are seeking a friendly, compassionate, and detail-oriented Concierge to join our Nursing and Rehabilitation Center team. As the welcoming face of our facility, you will play an important role in creating a positive experience for Residents and their families from admission through discharge. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and passionate about providing exceptional customer service in a healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities Partner with the Admissions Department to coordinate new admissions and communicate equipment needs, including beds, oxygen, and other supplies, to nursing staffPrepare Resident rooms for incoming admissions by ensuring:Previous Resident belongings are packed and removedTerminal cleaning has been completedBeds are properly madeCall bells, lights, televisions, and other room equipment are functioningAssemble and deliver welcome baskets to new ResidentsGreet and escort Residents from the lobby to their rooms while providing a warm and welcoming first impressionDevelop positive relationships with Residents and families by providing assistance, support, and excellent customer serviceRespond to call bells within the scope of the position and notify nursing staff when additional care or assistance is requiredAddress Resident concerns and complaints in accordance with the facility's grievance processAssist with Resident room transitions, including transitions from short-term rehabilitation to long-term careComplete Concierge follow-up documentation within 48 hours of admission and before dischargeProvide facility tours during off-hours or when Admissions staff are unavailableSubmit daily progress reports to leadership and communicate trends, concerns, or Resident needsCoordinate with laundry services to ensure stored Resident belongings are returned appropriatelyPrepare and distribute discharge gift bagsMonitor and coordinate Resident smoking schedules in accordance with facility policiesAttend required in-service trainings, Resident Council meetings, and staff meetingsPerform additional duties as assigned by the Administrator Requirements Previous customer service experience requiredCustomer service experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), rehabilitation center, or Assisted Living Facility (ALF) preferredExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsFriendly, professional, and compassionate approach when interacting with Residents, families, and staffStrong organizational and multitasking skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environmentDependable and team-oriented Benefits Comprehensive Medical & Dental CoverageGenerous Paid Time Off (PTO)401(k) Retirement PlanEmployee Recognition ProgramsSupportive, Team-Oriented Work EnvironmentCompany Perks & Employee Discounts Join Our Team If you enjoy helping others, creating meaningful connections, and making people feel welcomed and cared for, we would love to hear from you.
