Job Summary
The Concierge organizes, coordinates, and implements various resident services and programs and acts as an information source to residents regarding local market resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Resident Services & Building Security
- Greet all guests and residents
- Provide door security and grounds security
- Hold doors for those entering the building
- Receive incoming deliveries and notify residents when packages are ready for pick-up
- Deliver notices and resident communications door to door
- Interact effectively with a diverse group of people, stay calm under pressure, and provide cheerful assistance to others
- Aid residents with special requests, reservations, and coordination of resident services and programs
- Provide accurate information and referrals regarding property amenities, community programs, and local area resources
- Building Safety & Communication
- Conduct periodic walk-throughs of the lobby, common areas, and grounds, and report safety hazards, maintenance issues, or unusual activity to the Property Manager or on-call staff
- Verify visitor and guest identification and maintain accurate sign-in/sign-out logs at the front desk in accordance with property procedures
- Maintain a daily log of front desk activity, resident interactions, and notable incidents
- Notify the Property Manager or on-call personnel promptly of any emergencies, maintenance concerns, or security issues, and assist residents and guests with directions and information during drills or actual emergencies
- Administrative Support
- Assist with light clerical tasks, correspondence, and record-keeping as assigned
- Maintain familiarity with property policies, procedures, and emergency plans relevant to the concierge role
Education & Experience
- At least 1 year of customer service experience
Technical & Physical Skills
- Ability to use grounds keeping tools and machinery effectively
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations

Work Environment & Physical Demands
This is an on-site, guest-facing role based at the front entrance/lobby area of the property, involving greeting guests and residents, opening and holding doors, and monitoring building and grounds security.
