Concessions Supervisor - University of Virginia S&E

Compensation data: hourly rate of $20.00–$23.00 (Aramark’s good-faith estimate at time of posting).

Responsibilities

• Schedules and assigns daily work assignments to a food service team and supervises task completion.
• Trains and guides staff on job duties, proper food safety and sanitation procedures, and customer service.
• Prepares and builds food items according to standardized recipes and directions.
• Properly stores food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures.
• Sets up work stations including prep tables, service counters, hot wells, steam tables, etc.
• Breaks down, cleans, and sanitizes work stations.
• Serves food to customers while ensuring guest satisfaction and anticipating customer needs.
• Replenishes food items and ensures product is stocked to appropriate levels.
• Maintains excellent customer service and positive demeanor toward guests, customers, clients, and co-workers.
• Adheres to Aramark safety policies and procedures, including accurate food safety and sanitation.
• Ensures security of company assets.

Job duties may change or new ones may be assigned without formal notice to meet business commitments.

Requirements

• Previous supervisory experience in a related role preferred.
• Previous food service experience required.
• Must be able to acquire food safety certification.
• Must be able to work independently with limited supervision.
• Demonstrates excellent customer service skills.

Physical Demands

• Lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and/or extended walking and standing.
• May require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
