Responsibilities
- Closely follows and fully completes opening and closing checklists provided by Management.
- Possesses extensive knowledge of Legends’ food and beverage program.
- Assists in the training and management of event day staff to assure compliance with company service and sanitation standards.
- Develops and enforces standards for service, sanitation, and product and food quality.
- Supervises and works closely with all concessions staff to ensure that product is properly set and displayed prior to the start of each event.
- Aids in coordinating the movement, delivery and pick-ups of necessary equipment and product to and from all concession stands before, during and after events.
- Ensures proper menu items, as well as pricing, are up for display for each event.
- Makes physical audits of inventory and product at concession stands, researches and performs reconciliations as needed.
- Alerts Management and the Warehouse Supervisor of low inventory on any items.
- Records and delivers the correct amounts of inventory for proper dispersal, ensuring to have ordered the correct amounts of supplies to maintain proper par levels for each location assigned.
- Maintains proper organization, locking up, and securing of all concessions inventory.
- Assists with month-end inventory counts and organization.
- Develops the ability to use the FOH POS system and BOH inventory systems including training and problem-solving.
- Rotates to other service locations when necessary to assist with coverage.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be able to read, speak, and write English to communicate with staff and guests.
- Must be able to work all venue events and maintain a flexible schedule to meet service demand levels, including extended hours, days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be punctual and dependable.
- Must maintain personal hygiene and a well-groomed appearance in accordance with company and venue standards.
- Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned production tasks including constant standing, reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to lift and transport items weighing 10-30 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations and etiquette preferred.
- Must show flexibility by rotating to other service locations when necessary.
