About the role

The position involves preparing, presenting, and serving food as needed. It also includes performing prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables. Other responsibilities include weighing and measuring ingredients, carrying food to and from work stations, storing food in designated areas, cleaning work areas, equipment, and utensils, distributing supplies, and ensuring compliance with company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures.

Responsibilities

• Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Weighs and measures designated ingredients.
• Carries pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from work stations, stove, and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards.
• Stores food in designated areas following wrapping, dating, food safety, and rotation procedures.
• Cleans work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Distributes supplies, utensils, and portable equipment.
• Utilizes approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures, and standard portion control.
• Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps of service.
• Solves customer concerns and relays relevant information to supervisor.
• Affirms compliance with company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures.
• Affirms compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Qualifications

Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and follow company policies and procedures.

Skills

Strong communication skills are essential. Ability to work independently and as part of a team is required. Must be able to follow detailed instructions and adhere to company standards.

Pay

$10.00 per hour

Schedule

Flexible hours including weekends and evenings. Specific schedule details will be provided during the interview process.
