CONCESSIONS BARTENDER - Homestead-Miami Speedway

About the role

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve beverages to guests in the bar area in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner
• Adhere to state, federal, and corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests
• Set up assigned bars; requisition and stock all beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws and stirrers, condiments, glassware, ice, and produce
• Maintain stock, prepare, cure, and store all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices, and other perishables to ensure product quality
• Greet guests in a courteous, friendly manner
• Take and process orders for drinks; mix, garnish, and present drinks using standard ingredient recipes; practice prudent portion control
• Check guests at the bar for proper identification
• Detect and act upon guest inebriation as trained
• Demonstrate knowledge of liquor laws
• Receive cash from guests, make change, verify validity of charges, record charges, and ensure vouchers are properly executed
• Lock up and store all beverage product, food, equipment items, deposits and cash drops; secure bank
• Perform general cleaning tasks to adhere to health and safety standards; keep work area clean and organized
• Arrange bottles and glasses to maintain an attractive display in the bar area
• Wash and sterilize stemware
• Perform other duties as assigned

Pay

$15.00 per hour
