Concessions Attendant (Seasonal)

About the role
As our Concessions Attendant, you will serve as the central resource to our quick-service food operations. Your responsibilities revolve around providing genuine hospitality, speed, and accuracy to our guests. This position offers the unique opportunity to take on multiple roles within Food & Beverage and is integral to our program’s success.
Responsibilities
- Provide friendly, quality, genuine hospitality to each guest
- Greet guests, take orders, prepare, and serve offerings in accordance with established standards
- Demonstrate knowledge of menu and offerings, including dietary and allergen guidelines
- Operate cash register and receive payment in cash or credit card, accurately counting and providing change when applicable
- Prepare food and beverage throughout the day by anticipating and reacting to guest volume
- Work neatly and safely under the sanitary guidelines of the Health Department Rules and Regulations
- Follow recipes accurately while maintaining food and beverage preparation processes
- Complete food and beverage preparation assignments accurately, neatly, and in a timely fashion
- Perform shift opening, closing, and side work duties as assigned
- Stock and replenish food, beverage, paper products, and utensils as needed
- Clean, sanitize, and maintain amenities per sanitation guidelines
- Follow sanitation standards, including washing cookware and utensils throughout the day
- Set up and break down events and resort functions
Requirements
- Basic computer proficiency, including the ability to use email and the internet
- Flexibility to work events during non-business hours
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- 6 months of previous food and beverage experience is preferred
Physical demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods of time. The employee must also regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
