Concession Worker | Part-Time | Jungle Island

Responsibilities

• Cash register sales: Taking orders, building orders, and completing transactions.
• Concessions operations: Knowledge in all areas of concessions operations.
• Stock management: Maintaining stock and supply levels and communicating to the Concessions Supervisor of low stock items.
• Customer service: Listening and responding to customer requests or concerns.
• Workplace cleanliness: Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, including disposal of garbage and cleaning dishes.
• Serving beverages: Serving beverages to guests, including alcoholic beverages, responsibly.
• ID verification: Checking the guest's ID in accordance with state and federal regulations to verify the minimum age requirement for the purchase of alcoholic beverages.
• Sanitation and safety: Maintaining sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Three or more months of experience in the food service industry is preferred.
• Previous cash-handling experience is preferred.
• Ability to learn to handle cash and operate a cash register and corresponding system.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly, positive attitude with co-workers, managers, volunteers, and guests.

Pay

This role pays an hourly rate of $18.00 and is tip eligible.
