Concession Worker | Part-Time | Central Washington State Fair

Position Summary

Responsibilities

• Cash register sales: Taking orders, building orders, and completing transactions.
• Concessions operations: Building orders, preparing food, and managing stock levels.
• Customer service: Responding to customer requests and concerns.
• Workplace maintenance: Cleaning and organizing the workspace, disposing of garbage, and cleaning dishes.
• Serving beverages: Serving beverages, including alcoholic drinks, responsibly.
• ID verification: Checking guest IDs to verify the minimum age requirement for alcohol purchases.
• Sanitation and safety: Maintaining sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Three or more months’ experience in the food service industry preferred.
• Previous cash handling experience preferred.
• Ability to learn to handle cash and operate a cash register and corresponding system.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly, positive attitude.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
