Concession Worker | Part-Time | Blue Arena

Position Summary

Oak View Group (OVG) is the global leader in premium live entertainment infrastructure and services. This role pays an hourly rate of $15.00-$16.00 and is tip eligible. Benefits for part-time roles include a 401(k) savings plan and 401(k) matching. Part-time, seasonal, and internship employees accrue one hour of accrued paid leave per 30 hours worked, up to 48 hours per year. This position will remain open until July 17th, 2026.

Responsibilities

• Cash register sales by taking orders, building orders, and completing transactions.
• Build orders, prepare food, and knowledge in all areas of concessions operations.
• Maintain stock and supply levels and communicate low-stock items to the Concessions Stand Manager.
• Listen and respond to customer requests or concerns.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including disposing of garbage and cleaning dishes.
• Serve beverages to guests, including alcoholic beverages, responsibly.
• Check guest’s ID in accordance with state/federal regulations to verify the minimum age requirement for the purchase of alcoholic beverages.
• Maintain sanitation, health and safety standards in work areas.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Three or more months of experience in the food service industry is preferred.
• Previous cash handling experience preferred.
• Ability to learn to handle cash and operate a cash register and corresponding system.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly, positive attitude with co-workers, managers, volunteers, and guests.
