Concession Stand Worker - Clemson Athletics

About the role

As a Concession Stand Worker, you will prepare and build food items while delivering a memorable guest service experience. Responsibilities may vary by location based on client requirements and business needs.

Responsibilities

• Courteously greet and assist all guests
• Take food orders and serve guests
• Prepare and build food items according to standardized recipes and directions
• Properly store food by applying food safety policies and procedures
• Set up workstations including prep tables, service counters, hot wells, steam tables, etc.
• Break down, clean, and sanitize workstations
• Serve food to guests while ensuring guest satisfaction and anticipating guest needs
• Replenish food items and ensure product is stocked to appropriate levels
• Maintain excellent service, positive demeanor, and friendly, efficient interactions with guests, clients, and co-workers
• Adhere to Aramark safety policies and procedures, including proper food safety and sanitation
• Ensure security of company assets
• Operate a cash register and collect payment for sales from guests
• Reconcile cash to register sales and stand inventory
• Maintain and implement the Aramark alcohol policy
• Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by manager

Requirements

• Previous food service experience preferred
• Must be able to obtain food safety certification
• Demonstrates positive guest service skills
• Requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling of up to 25 lb.
• May be required to meet state age requirements for serving alcohol
• May be required to obtain TIPS/TEAM card at locations that serve and sell alcohol
• May be required to complete Serve Safe Food Handlers certification
• Previous guest service experience is a plus
• Ideal candidate will be available to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays
