Concession Stand Lead - Whataburger Field

About the role

This position oversees or delegates responsibilities within the food service operation, including inventory, customer service, food preparation, and food safety and sanitation procedures. Responsibilities may vary by location based on client requirements and business needs.

Responsibilities

• Schedules and assigns daily work assignments to a food service team and supervises task completion.
• Trains and guides staff on job duties, proper food safety and sanitation procedures, and customer service.
• Prepares and builds food items according to standardized recipes and directions.
• Properly stores food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures.
• Sets up workstations including prep tables, service counters, hot wells, and steam tables.
• Breaks down, cleans, and sanitizes workstations.
• Serves food to customers while ensuring guest satisfaction and anticipating customer needs.
• Replenishes food items and ensures product is stocked to appropriate levels.
• Adheres to all alcohol service policies and safe drinking guidelines, including checking patrons' identification.
• Maintains excellent customer service and a positive demeanor toward guests, customers, clients, and co-workers.
• Adheres to Aramark safety policies and procedures, including proper food safety and sanitation.
• Ensures security of company assets.

Requirements

• Previous supervisory experience in a related role preferred.
• Previous food service experience required.
• Must be able to obtain food safety certification.
• Exhibit and practice the highest level of guest satisfaction skills.
• Basic accounting knowledge and experience managing inventory required.
• Willingness to accept change, new procedures, and constructive comments.
• Ability to establish relationships with guests and co-workers.
• Demonstrated organizational skills to improve efficiency.
• Ability to coordinate multiple tasks, meet production/service time schedules, and adapt to necessary and unforeseen changes.
• Demonstrate consistent professionalism in the execution of daily assignments.
• Must be able to work independently with limited supervision.
• Demonstrates excellent guest service skills.

Schedule

Ideal candidate will be available to work a flexible schedule that includes weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Physical Demands

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
