Concert Stage Crew Volunteer — Behind the Scenes

VoicesAlive is a nonprofit arts organization dedicated to building community, inspiring connection, and promoting inclusion through choral music, performance, and community engagement. Founded in 2001 with the creation of MenAlive – Orange County Gay Men's Chorus, VoicesAlive now serves Southern California through multiple choral programs. Alongside MenAlive, PrideAlive, our new mixed-voice chorus, launched in August 2026, expanding opportunities for people of all backgrounds to connect through music. Through performance, outreach, and volunteer service, we strive to uplift voices, foster acceptance, and strengthen the communities we serve. Our volunteers are at the heart of this work. Through HeartsAlive, our volunteer community supports concerts, events, and outreach programs that help bring our mission to life. VoicesAlive is led by a volunteer Board of Directors and operates as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. , Help make the magic happen behind the scenes! VoicesAlive is looking for two dependable volunteers to join our Stage Crew for our upcoming concert. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys live events, working as part of a team, and being part of the action without needing to be on stage. Stage Crew volunteers will work behind the scenes to help our performers and production team keep the concert running smoothly. What You'll Do Assist with backstage and stage-area setupHelp move and position equipment, props, music stands, and other items as neededHelp keep backstage areas organized and safeAssist with transitions between musical numbers or portions of the performanceWork with the production team and other volunteers to support a smooth concert experienceHelp with appropriate cleanup and breakdown at the end of the performance The commitment We are looking for two volunteers who can commit to all four concert nights, rather than signing up for individual performances. Consistency is important because the Stage Crew works as a team throughout the concert run.
