VoicesAlive is a nonprofit arts organization dedicated to building community, inspiring connection, and promoting inclusion through choral music, performance, and community engagement. Founded in 2001 with the creation of MenAlive – Orange County Gay Men's Chorus, VoicesAlive now serves Southern California through multiple choral programs. Alongside MenAlive, PrideAlive, our new mixed-voice chorus, launched in August 2026, expanding opportunities for people of all backgrounds to connect through music. Through performance, outreach, and volunteer service, we strive to uplift voices, foster acceptance, and strengthen the communities we serve. Our volunteers are at the heart of this work. Through HeartsAlive, our volunteer community supports concerts, events, and outreach programs that help bring our mission to life. VoicesAlive is led by a volunteer Board of Directors and operates as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. , Help welcome our audience and make concert night special! VoicesAlive is looking for friendly, dependable volunteers to help with Front of House operations during our upcoming concert. Front of House volunteers are the welcoming face of the organization — helping audience members have a smooth, enjoyable experience from the moment they arrive until the final curtain. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys meeting people, helping others, and being part of a live performance experience without needing to be on stage. What you'll do Depending on the assignment, Front of House volunteers may Welcome and greet audience membersHelp guests find their way around the venueAssist with seating and general audience questionsHelp distribute programs or other concert materialsAssist with check-in or ticket-related activities as neededHelp keep public areas organized and welcomingAssist with merchandise or other guest services, if neededHelp with light cleanup and resetting the venue after the performanceWork with the Front of House team to make sure guests have a positive experience What we're looking for We're looking for volunteers who are Friendly and welcomingComfortable interacting with the publicDependable and punctualAble to work as part of a teamComfortable standing and walking for portions of the shiftCalm and helpful when things get busyInclusive and respectful toward people from all backgrounds No previous concert or theater experience is required.
