About the role

The Department of Enterprise Technology Services is seeking an Infrastructure Specialist to maintain the digital lifeline for thousands of families, children, and social workers. The successful candidate will ensure high availability, security, and modernization of critical systems.

Responsibilities

• Arcitect & Maintain: Oversee the health of local and cloud-based server environments.
• Bridge the Gap: Collaborate with social service teams to translate their needs into technical requirements.
• Innovate: Identify and implement automation to reduce administrative burdens on frontline staff.
• Secure: Implement and enforce top-tier security protocols to protect sensitive data.

Requirements

• PREFERENCES: Knowledge and experience with AWS services such as VPC, Appstream, EC2, and Cloudwatch.
• KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE WITH SALESFORCE ADMINISTRATION: Monitoring system development, deploying applications, managing system access and security, and assisting developers.
• KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE SUPPORTING SDLC: Researching and implementing system and software development lifecycles.
• KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE SUPPORTING WINDOWS AND LINUX SERVERS: Troubleshooting and managing Windows and Linux servers.
• KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE WITH MULESOFT ADMINISTRATION: Integrating MuleSoft for application development and deployment.

Qualifications

• MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Technology or equivalent experience.
• EXPERIENCE: 0-3 years of progressive work experience in Systems and Infrastructure.
