Computer Technology Adjunct Instructor "Pool"

About the role

Piedmont Technical College is building an active pool of qualified candidates for temporary, part‑time Adjunct Faculty positions. Adjunct instructors may teach at the Lex D. Walters Campus and/or at one of the college’s six county centers in Laurens, Newberry, Edgefield, Saluda, Abbeville, and McCormick. Opportunities may include daytime or evening classes, online instruction, and dual‑credit courses offered at local high schools. Applications will be reviewed on an as‑needed basis as teaching opportunities become available.

Responsibilities

• Teach a diverse student body in accordance with established syllabi at various locations, utilizing instructional technology and a variety of effective teaching methods.
• Plan, manage, and deliver course instruction.
• Follow all EPA and OSHA regulations that pertain to the program.
• Participate in college functions as needed.
• Apply teaching practices that support the continuous improvement of both the program and the college.
• Serve as a professional team member who supports the mission and vision of the college while performing duties with the highest level of quality and service.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in the teaching discipline, or an associate degree with demonstrated competencies in the teaching discipline.
• Temporary, part‑time position.
