Central PA Institute (CPI) is seeking qualified candidates for the following instructional positions.
About the Role
- Computer Systems Networking & Telecommunications Instructor: Teach courses in networking, telecommunications, and related computer systems technologies.
- Diesel Technology Programs Assistant Instructor: Assist lead instructors in delivering hands-on training in diesel technology, including engine repair, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver instructional content aligned with program curriculum and industry standards.
- Assess student performance through exams, projects, and hands-on demonstrations.
- Maintain classroom, lab, and equipment safety in accordance with institutional and OSHA guidelines.
- Collaborate with program faculty to update course materials and integrate new technologies.
- Provide academic and career guidance to students.
- Participate in professional development, faculty meetings, and institutional committees.
Requirements
- Associate degree or higher in a relevant field (Bachelor’s preferred for lead instructor roles).
- Industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, ASE, or equivalent) strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of professional experience in the respective field (networking/telecom or diesel technology).
- Prior teaching or training experience is a plus but not required.
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage diverse learners.
