Computer Systems Networking & Telecommunications Instructor & Diesel Tech Programs Asst Instructor

Central PA Institute (CPI) is seeking qualified candidates for the following instructional positions.

About the Role

• Computer Systems Networking & Telecommunications Instructor: Teach courses in networking, telecommunications, and related computer systems technologies.
• Diesel Technology Programs Assistant Instructor: Assist lead instructors in delivering hands-on training in diesel technology, including engine repair, hydraulics, and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver instructional content aligned with program curriculum and industry standards.
• Assess student performance through exams, projects, and hands-on demonstrations.
• Maintain classroom, lab, and equipment safety in accordance with institutional and OSHA guidelines.
• Collaborate with program faculty to update course materials and integrate new technologies.
• Provide academic and career guidance to students.
• Participate in professional development, faculty meetings, and institutional committees.

Requirements

• Associate degree or higher in a relevant field (Bachelor’s preferred for lead instructor roles).
• Industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, ASE, or equivalent) strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of professional experience in the respective field (networking/telecom or diesel technology).
• Prior teaching or training experience is a plus but not required.
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage diverse learners.
