Responsibilities

• Designing, developing, testing, and documenting software code.
• Planning, analyzing, programing and implementing coding practices.
• Developing software drivers.
• Developing software applications.
• Processing digital signals.
• Developing Client/server applications.
• Analyzing and implementing Legacy and current processor technology.
• Analyzing and implementing Operating systems, architectures, and interfaces.
• Developing code using Assembly and high-level programming languages.
• Reverse engineering software/code.
• Developing embedded software.
• Communicating status of work.
• Peer reviewing software.

Required Qualifications

• Three (3) years of experience in software and firmware design, development, and test to include writing clear, concise, functioning and fully commented code, and a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of expertise (e.g., Engineering, Physical Science, Computer Science, or Systems Engineering) from an accredited college or university.
• A Master’s degree in a relevant field of expertise may be substituted for two (2) years of experience.
• Four (4) years of additional experience in software and firmware design, development, and test may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree.
