Computer Operator (Charleston, WV)

Overview

The Computer Operator I provides operational support of our product development and systems integration teams, our lottery operations, and customers; monitors our enterprise infrastructure; and escalates issues as required.

Responsibilities

• Aid in the daily operation of computer systems.
• Carry out all tasks on the daily checklist under supervision.
• Generate reports required.
• Assist in verifying the validity and clarity of computer reports and other output before releasing from Computer Operations.
• Afford assistance in the recovery activities necessary to restore normal operations.
• Follow the correct escalation procedures within Computer Operations and other departments.
• Perform other required tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• Education: Two-year technical college degree or comparable experience.
• Years Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in related field.
• Success Profile: Leading Complexity, Leading People, Leading the Business, Leading Self.
