Computer/Network Technician – Belmont Co.

About the role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Computer/Network Technician to join our dynamic IT team in Belmont County, Ohio. The ideal candidate will maintain and troubleshoot computer systems, networks, and software applications in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose hardware issues on technology devices, including PCs, servers, printers, scanners, and other peripherals, and make necessary repairs per ECOESC protocols.
• Install, configure, and upgrade computer hardware, peripherals, and software.
• Provide technical support on software including MS Office, web browsers, and other applications.
• Respond to, follow up on, and close all assigned tickets promptly.
• Utilize service request tracking tools to document and report work.
• Maintain all necessary supplies, materials, and equipment with the managing supervisor.
• Ensure the privacy of confidential information, including records and files.
• Escalate tickets to Tier 2 and Tier 3 teams when needed.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Accept coaching and feedback as it relates to quarterly and annual reviews.
• Participate in team meetings and attend organization updates.

Requirements

• Proficiency in ITIL framework for IT service management is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of computer hardware.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking and protocols.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and logical reasoning to troubleshoot issues.
• Ability to organize and efficiently manage multiple priorities with a keen sense of urgency.
• Strong communication skills to effectively convey technical information to non-technical users.
• Commitment to staying updated on the latest technology trends and advancements in the IT field.
• High level of discretion and ability to follow confidentiality protocols.
• Ability to lift 30 pounds.
• Must clear a criminal background check.
