Computer Instructional Specialist -Sierra Vista Elementary #244

Open to PYLUSD permanent employees, substitutes, and external applicants. Interviews will begin with permanent applicants qualified for an interview.

About the role

This is a part-time position at Sierra Vista Elementary #244, supporting computer instructional activities for students.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional support in computer operations and technology education.
• Assist teachers and students with computer-based learning activities.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Possess an Associate of Arts (or higher) degree or have completed 48 units from an accredited post-secondary educational institute or pass the District proficiency test in the assigned area.
• Current resume including two years of general instructional aide experience.
• Two years of experience in computer instructional or computer operations (desirable).
• Completion of 48 units or the Instructional Aide Test (ESSA) required.

Pay

Pay range: $23.70 - $28.89 per hour.

Schedule

• 9.5 months per year (school calendar).
• Up to 5 days per week.
• 18.75 hours per week.
• Flexible shift hours between Monday–Friday, 7:45 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
• 204 paid days per work calendar (1001 hours).
