Computer Coding Engineer (United States)

Key Responsibilities

• Clarify requirements and implement features for applications, services, and automation.
• Create and consume REST APIs; integrate databases and write efficient SQL queries.
• Create automated unit and integration tests to reduce regressions.
• Participate in code reviews, improve standards, and document technical decisions.
• Operate and improve production systems via monitoring, debugging, and observability.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and secure coding practices.

Required Qualifications

• Mid-senior experience shipping production software in a team environment.
• Strong proficiency in Python, Java, or JavaScript/TypeScript (and ability to learn new stacks).
• Solid foundations in debugging, testing strategy, and API design.
• Experience with Git-based workflows and CI/CD.
• Clear communication and collaboration in distributed, remote teams.

Preferred

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with performance optimization techniques.
• Experience with observability tools like logging, metrics, and tracing.
• Experience with security best practices.
• Experience with AI/ML-adjacent engineering tools and techniques.
