Computed Tomography Technologist - (CT Tech)

About the role

The client is seeking a highly motivated and passionate clinician for a contract position at a well-respected hospital system. Candidates must be willing to support a friendly, positive, and professional environment and work in a fast-paced setting. The position is available for full-time hours and is an immediate need.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using computed tomography equipment.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during examinations.
• Accurately document patient information and images in the electronic health record.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to interpret and report on imaging studies.
• Maintain a high level of technical proficiency and knowledge of imaging techniques and equipment.

Requirements

• Current certification as a Registered Radiologic Technologist (RRT) from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Experience in performing computed tomography (CT) scans.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and colleagues.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience in a clinical setting.
• Knowledge of radiation protection principles and practices.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

Pay

$2567.00 - $2645.00 per week.
