Job Description
The CT Technologist position is based in Providence, Rhode Island, a historic and vibrant city known for its arts scene, culinary offerings, and preserved neighborhoods. Responsibilities
- Perform a full range of CT examinations using GE and Siemens scanners
- Assess and prepare patients for examinations
- Administer IV access and contrast as allowed by policy
- Select and acquire images according to established protocols and safety guidelines
- Verify physician orders, review patient histories, and address questions
- Operate CT equipment, monitor image quality, and communicate with radiologists
- Accurately document exams in the EMR and communicate with the broader care team
Requirements
- CT Technologist certification (CERT-ARRT-CT)
- Certifications for GE and Siemens scanners
