About the role
The Multi-Modality Technologist I provides diagnostic imaging in multiple specialties in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization. Spends a minimum of 25% of time practicing in a secondary discipline.

Schedule
- Saturday: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Weekdays: 8-hour shifts
- On-call rotation with compensation awarded
- Holiday rotation
Responsibilities
- Charges appropriately for all supplies used for procedure(s).
- Takes on-call shift responsibilities as required by the department.
- Reviews patient history and physician's orders.
- Educates patient regarding procedures, equipment, and exam to ensure patient's understanding and cooperation.
- Assists with preparation and administration of contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice.
- Monitors patient condition continually and reports/responds to changes in status as appropriate.
- Prepares equipment and supplies. Selects appropriate exposure factors and imaging parameters.
- Implements safety standards and performs appropriate quality control procedures on equipment. Troubleshoots, resolves, and/or reports equipment malfunctions as necessary.
- Positions patient and performs imaging procedure(s), taking appropriate action to resolve image quality issues.

Requirements
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
- BLS certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
- Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license – State of Florida
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
- Registered as a Technologist (RT) by ARRT as required by state law
- Registered in computed tomography (CT) by ARRT within 1 year of hire date
- Hospital experience required
- CT certification required
Qualifications
- Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
- No previous CT experience required.
- One year of radiology technologist experience is preferred.
