Computed Tomography CT Technologist Part Time

About the role

We are seeking a CT Technologist to produce quality diagnostic radiographs and cross-sectional images that assist medical personnel in patient diagnosis. The role involves operating CT equipment, preparing patients, and coordinating the imaging process to ensure timely and professional care.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality diagnostic radiographs and CT scans as ordered by physicians.
• Operate CT equipment to capture cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissues for medical diagnosis.
• Prepare patients for diagnostic procedures by explaining the process and positioning them correctly.
• Coordinate the process for ordering procedures and transmitting images to radiologists.
• Provide efficient, quality-oriented patient care in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements

• Current ARRT certification.
• Valid and active certification/licensure to practice as a Radiology Tech in the state of employment.
• Completion of a CT Technology certificate program.
• Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor.

Qualifications & Skills

• Two (2) years of previous experience preferred.
• Hospital experience preferred.
• Ability to project a professional image and make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills.
• Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
