Comptroller
About the role
A County Comptroller helps make sure taxpayer dollars are accounted for, public funds are protected, and county government remains transparent and financially sound. They help build budgets, reconcile accounts, prepare financial reports, coordinate independent audits, modernize accounting systems, oversee accounts receivable, monitor compliance with state and federal requirements, and conduct financial and performance audits across county departments. They ensure every dollar can be traced and every process stands up to scrutiny.

Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Three years of professional accounting experience (government accounting is a plus)
- Strong analytical, Excel, and financial reporting skills
- A passion for accuracy, integrity, and public service
