Comprehensive Ophthalmologist - Astoria, OR (Assistant, Associate or Full Professor)

About the role

The position is under the supervision of the Chair of the Department of Ophthalmology at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU).

Responsibilities

• Teaching medical students, house staff, paramedical personnel and the regional medical community.
• Providing clinical care to patients of the University Hospital and Clinics, and affiliated hospitals and clinics.
• Engaging in public service through consultative activities with non-university groups as approved by the Department Chair.
• Caring for comprehensive ophthalmology patients and providing staffing to residents who care for such patients.
• Primary clinical practice at Casey Eye Institute's satellite location in Astoria, Oregon.

Requirements

• A current, valid MD license.
• Completion of an accredited ophthalmology residency program.
• Board certification or eligibility by the American Board of Ophthalmology.
