Comprehensive Ophthalmologist (Assistant/Associate/Full Professor)

Join the Department of Ophthalmology at the University of Florida as a full-time faculty member (Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor) in comprehensive ophthalmology. This role offers the opportunity to engage in a busy tertiary clinical practice within a newly built, state-of-the-art clinic and surgery center. The successful candidate will deliver exceptional patient care while contributing to independent and collaborative research initiatives and innovative educational programs in a dynamic academic medical center.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality patient care in a tertiary clinical setting.
  • Develop and participate in independent and collaborative research initiatives.
  • Contribute to educational programs, including resident training and teaching.
  • Engage in academic activities and maintain board certification.

Requirements

  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited ophthalmology residency program.
  • Board certification or eligibility in ophthalmology.
  • Licensure or eligibility to practice medicine in the State of Florida.

Pay

Expected salary range: $256,000–$300,000 annually, commensurate with rank and experience.
