About the role

We are seeking experienced composites, fiberglass and gelcoat technicians for year-round work in the Fairfield County, CT area. Our company is a dynamic young firm that is team-oriented, servicing boatyards and yachts. We are expanding our operations and our team.

Responsibilities

• Work on a variety of vessels including runabouts, day sailors, and mega yachts.
• Perform composite repairs, fiberglass applications, and gelcoat finishing.
• Ensure quality control and adherence to industry standards.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure project completion.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in composites, fiberglass, and gelcoat work.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and machinery.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow blueprints and specifications.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.

Skills

• Knowledge of marine construction techniques.
• Experience with epoxy resins and other marine coatings.
• Basic understanding of marine electrical systems.
