Composite Layup Technician
About the role
CPI AdamWorks in Centennial, Colorado, has a need for an entry-level manufacturing technician. We design and build composite structures for aircraft, defense, and space and would love you to join our team!
What We Do
Radomes are special “domes” made of composite materials that protect antennas and radar systems from the environment while allowing electromagnetic signals to pass. CPI Radant produces these for critical applications, meaning: They enable secure communications and radar/electronic-warfare capabilities for military and commercial aerospace platforms.
Their manufacturing includes large apertures and high-frequency performance. Their advances in composite manufacturing and large structures feed into modern aircraft, satellites, naval vessels, etc.
Duties
- Mold and material preparation for layups of composite structures
- Composite layup and tooling, using carbon fiber and other composite materials
- Basic mechanical assembly, use of hand tools and hand measuring equipment
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Composite experience preferred
- Will provide training
- Must be US Citizen (ITAR and DoD program requirements)
Pay
Hourly rate: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Schedule
Work schedule is four 10 hour days, Mondays through Thursdays, 1st shift 6:00am-4:30pm

This position requires potential access to technology controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). The successful candidate must be a "U.S. Person as defined under ITAR and EAR.
