Composite Bonding Technician

About the role

Support composite bonding operations involving aircraft blades, cowlings, and related aerospace components.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor autoclave equipment according to established procedures and specifications.
• Prepare parts and materials for bonding and curing processes.
• Follow work instructions, engineering drawings, and manufacturing specifications.
• Perform inspections before, during, and after bonding operations.
• Maintain accurate production and quality records.
• Ensure compliance with aerospace quality standards, safety requirements, and company procedures.
• Troubleshoot minor process issues and escalate concerns as needed.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and production goals.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience (Senior level)
• High school diploma, A levels, GED, GCSE
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working with autoclaves, composites, or aerospace manufacturing processes.
• Experience in composite fabrication, curing, bonding, or related manufacturing operations preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, work instructions, and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and follow strict process controls.
• Willingness to learn specialized bonding processes through company-provided training.

Qualifications

• Aerospace manufacturing experience is highly preferred.
