B&A is seeking a Compliance Subject Matter Expert (SME) – Intermediate to support the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Information Operations Enterprise Enclave and Information Operations Secure Enterprise Enclave Engineering (IOEE/IOSEE) Support Services in Fort Belvoir, Virginia.

Anticipated award: October/November 2026. Anticipated start: November 2026. Period of performance: 1 base year + 2 option years. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Responsibilities

  • Provides expert support, analysis, and research into exceptionally complex problems and processes relating to the subject matter with minimal direction.
  • Serves as a technical expert on executive-level project teams, offering technical direction, interpretation, and alternatives.
  • Demonstrates exceptional written and oral communication skills, thinking independently.
  • Applies extensive technical expertise and full knowledge of related disciplines.
  • Guides the successful completion of major programs and may function in a project leadership role.
  • Develops technical solutions to complex problems requiring ingenuity and creativity.
  • Works without appreciable direction, exercising considerable latitude in determining technical objectives.
  • Expertise is in a particular area of Information Technology (e.g., Information Systems Architecture, Telecommunications Systems Design, Architecture, Implementation, Information Systems Integration, Software Development Methodologies, Security Engineering, Communications and Network Systems Management).

Requirements

  • Ten (10) years of experience in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems/Technology).
  • Current DoD 8570/8140 approved IAM Level III certification.
  • Current Cisco Certified Network Professional-Enterprise (CCNP-E) certification.
  • Current Check Point Certified Security Administrator (CCSA) certification.
  • Active Secret security clearance, adjudicated within the last five (5) years.

Qualifications

  • Cisco Certified Internetworking Expert - Enterprise Infrastructure (CCIE-EI) certification (desired).
  • Check Point Certified Security Expert (CCSE) (desired).
  • AWS Cloud Practitioner (desired).
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (desired).
  • CompTIA Cloud+ (desired).

Pay

Salary range: $75,000 – $125,000 annually. Actual compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, certifications, security clearance, and contract funding.

Fort Belvoir, Virginia.
