About the role

Connected Logistics is seeking a Compliance SME to assist in providing core network engineering services needed to manage the ongoing operations, planned upgrades, new technology insertion, and strategic capability development of Information Operations Enterprise Enclave (IOEE) and Information Operations Secure Enterprise Enclave (IOSEE) systems and equipment. The goal is to provide a secure, reliable, and high-performance network that effectively enables DLA's business activities. This role requires the ability to deploy to any DLA site in support of installation or troubleshooting activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert support, analysis, and research into exceptionally complex problems and processes relating to the subject matter.
• Serve as a technical expert on executive-level project teams, providing technical direction, interpretation, and alternatives.
• Apply extensive technical expertise and full knowledge of other related disciplines.
• Guide the successful completion of major programs and may function in a project leadership role.
• Develop technical solutions to complex problems that require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity.

Requirements

• Ten (10) years of experience in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems/Technology).
• Ability to think independently and demonstrate exceptional written and oral communication skills.
• Work is performed without appreciable direction; must have the ability to exercise considerable latitude in determining technical objectives of assignment.
• Expertise in a particular area of Information Technology (e.g., Information Systems Architecture, Telecommunications Systems Design, Architecture, Implementation, Information Systems Integration, Software Development Methodologies, Security Engineering, Communications and Network Systems Management).
• May need to travel approximately 3 times a year.
• At time of proposal, must possess a High Risk, Critical Sensitive, Tier 5/SSBI investigation.
• Active Top Secret clearance required.

Qualifications

• DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification: Category IAT Level III (CISSP, CISM, GSLC, or equivalent).
• Computing Environment Certifications:
  • Cisco Certified Network Professional-Enterprise (CCNP-E)
  • Cisco Certified Internetworking Expert - Enterprise Infrastructure (CCIE-EI) (preferred)
  • Check Point Certified Security Administrator (CCSA)
• Additional Preferred Certifications:
  • Check Point Certified Security Expert (CCSE)
  • AWS Cloud Practitioner
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals
  • CompTIA Cloud+

Pay

The anticipated salary range for this position is $140,000.00 to $150,000.00 USD. This range is based on factors such as experience, geographic location, and contractual requirements.
