About the Role

The Compliance Specialist, Immigration and Regulatory is a key stakeholder in supporting the Company’s internal immigration strategy and mitigating regulatory risk. This role facilitates the Company’s immigration program, serving as the bridge between outside immigration support vendors, leadership, and individuals in compiling, filing, and tracking immigration applications. Additionally, this role conducts compliance assessments through auditing employment records and administering other regulatory programs.

Responsibilities

  • Independently manage the end-to-end immigration visa application and renewal process for the enterprise.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert of the immigration process and main point of contact for associates, Human Resources, and business leaders for immigration matters.
  • Partner with outside counsel to gather relevant materials, prepare documents, and other filings.
  • Serve as internal expert on I-9 compliance, conducting internal I-9 audits, and coordinate and deliver training on I-9 completion as required.
  • Monitor frequently changing I-9 work authorization updates and recommend appropriate responsive actions; support external I-9 audits by managing document response and outside counsel interactions.
  • Facilitate compliance training across the enterprise, maintain training records, and track participation.
  • Monitor and maintain compliance programs, including completing and submitting records for various state and federal agencies, maintaining records and recordkeeping systems, and communicating findings and results to stakeholders.
  • Support the legal function by assisting with providing reportable and requested information to applicable state or federal agencies, coordinating agency inspections, testing, and follow-ups, and managing internal calendars.
  • Maintain records and recordkeeping systems with all relevant actions and documentation, as well as applicable registrations and manage the registration process.
  • Create and distribute compliance scorecards to applicable stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business (Master's Degree in Business preferred).
