Compliance Specialist-ENT

Job Description

To perform internal audits to ensure regulatory compliance in an assigned area.

To assist in implementing and maintaining a comprehensive compliance data quality management program.

To educate others on regulatory compliance.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Performs audits on an assigned area or unit and reports results to upper management.
• Participates in the development of educational and training materials that focus on key elements of the compliance program.
• Analyzes operating procedures, identifies potential violations, and provides technical assistance/recommendations to management.
• Collaborates with managers to identify negative trends in the coding and billing areas.
• Confers with external auditors to ensure compliance of assigned area(s).
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and two (2) years of related experience required.
• Or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.

Pay and Benefits

Pay range: $57,940 - $94,150 / year
