Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks
- Monitor live loan files to ensure timely and accurate issuance of third-day disclosures, locked Loan Estimates (LE), and Closing Disclosures (CD).
- Ensure compliance with TRID requirements, including waiting periods, fee tolerances, redisclosure guidelines, and Change of Circumstance rules.
- Provide guidance on fee structures, disclosure requirements, and compliance-related questions to internal teams.
- Develop and maintain closing cost templates to ensure consistency and regulatory accuracy across branches.
- Respond to compliance inquiries via phone and email in a professional and timely manner.
- Aid the Operations Compliance team with audits, reviews, and ongoing regulatory support initiatives.
- Identify and resolve disclosure discrepancies in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Qualifications
- Previous mortgage experience with knowledge of REPSA-TILA Integrated Disclosure Rules.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent writing and editing skills.
- Ability to effectively and professionally handle difficult situations that may arise when working with branches/divisions.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Knowledge of and proficiency in Encompass (not necessary, but preferred) and Microsoft Office applications.
Preferences
- Regulatory compliance experience.
- Strong research skills.
