COMPLIANCE SPECIALIST
About the role
Performs support activities related to the day-to-day operational aspects of the Archbold Medical Center's Corporate Compliance Program. Demonstrates technical and professional competency. Must possess demonstrated knowledge of pertinent federal and state laws related to healthcare and possess the ability to comprehend complex regulatory matters. Must have excellent organization, planning, analytical and problem-solving skills. Verbal and written communication skills are essential. Must be proficient with word processing, spreadsheet applications, and other programs as needed to analyze and manage data.
Responsibilities
- Supports the Corporate Compliance Program by performing administrative tasks and providing assistance to the Compliance Officer.
- Assists in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to compliance.
- Monitors compliance with federal and state regulations and ensures adherence to organizational policies.
- Prepares reports and documentation as required by regulatory bodies and internal audits.
- Participates in training sessions and workshops to enhance understanding of regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience including healthcare regulatory or compliance-related functions.

- Demonstrated knowledge of pertinent federal and state laws related to healthcare.
- Ability to comprehend complex regulatory matters.
