About the role
The Compliance Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring adherence to all relevant regulations and policies related to affordable housing. This includes conducting audits, maintaining compliance records, and providing guidance to team members.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular audits of affordable housing projects to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date compliance records and reports.
- Provide training and guidance to team members on compliance matters.
- Stay informed about changes in regulations and policies affecting affordable housing.
- Prepare and present compliance-related presentations to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Public Policy, Urban Studies, etc.)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in compliance or regulatory affairs within the affordable housing sector.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local housing laws and regulations.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Schedule
