About the role

The Compliance Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring adherence to all relevant regulations and policies related to affordable housing. This includes conducting audits, maintaining compliance records, and providing guidance to team members.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular audits of affordable housing projects to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date compliance records and reports.
  • Provide training and guidance to team members on compliance matters.
  • Stay informed about changes in regulations and policies affecting affordable housing.
  • Prepare and present compliance-related presentations to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Public Policy, Urban Studies, etc.)
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in compliance or regulatory affairs within the affordable housing sector.
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local housing laws and regulations.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Schedule
