Under the supervision of the Supervisor I in the Compliance and Special Projects Unit, the Analyst I will perform duties and assignments relative to compliance and special projects.

Working Conditions

  • Hybrid Telework: This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule. Additional in-office days may be required based on business need.
  • In the event of an emergency, employees may be contacted and requested to report to work outside of normal working hours (evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays).
  • Emergency service may require irregular work hours, work locations other than the official duty location, and duties beyond those specified in the official position description.
  • Travel requirements in support of emergency operations may be extensive (weeks to months), with little advance notice, and may require relocation to emergency sites.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Research, analyze, draft, and revise policies, procedures, and other written guidance using clear, concise, and professional writing.
  • Interpret and apply laws, regulations, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance and provide sound recommendations.
  • Maintain accurate records, track projects, and organize electronic files using sound records management practices.
  • Effectively communicate, both orally and in writing, with all levels of staff, management, and external stakeholders.
  • Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships while providing exceptional customer service.
  • Coordinate multiple administrative functions such as procurement, contracts, training, awards programs, and special projects.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) and quickly learn new software applications such as FI$Cal, Smartsheet, Adobe Acrobat, or other tracking systems.
  • Exercise sound judgment, maintain confidentiality, and demonstrate initiative in resolving issues independently.
  • Experience managing projects, tracking assignments, and monitoring deadlines through completion.
