Responsibilities
- Identify potential clients within our target market and complete appropriate research on the prospective client’s business needs.
- Negotiate contract terms with clients and communicate terms to stakeholders.
- Become a subject matter expert on our business products, processes, and operations, and remain up to date on industry news.
- Generate interest in Kipu Systems solutions through cold calling and following up on company-provided hot leads.
- Cross-selling our Compliance Software and Services to our existing base of clients.
- Identify, initiate, and nurture relationships with prospects over the phone, via email, and face-to-face visits.
- Enter all activities into Salesforce.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date sales lead tracking and pipeline.
- Maintain accurate forecasting and established targets.
- Learn the benefits and features of our industry-leading brand and solutions and sustain the knowledge to nurture success.
- Educate prospects, coordinate, and present demonstrations.
- Quickly learn and apply new information in customer-facing scenarios.
- Build a strong foundation of industry knowledge to expertly handle client objections.
Qualifications
- 2 to 4 years of work experience as a business development professional, sales executive, or a relevant role.
- Proven experience managing the entire sales cycle from finding a potential client to securing a deal.
- Proficient in sales methodology such as GAP, Sandler, Challenger, etc.
- Track record of over-achieving established targets
- Knowledge of market research, sales, and negotiating principles.
- Experience in customer support is a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to build rapport.
- Time management and planning skills.
- Passion for technology and willingness to learn.
