Compliance & Reporting Analyst (NIBRS)
About the role
We are seeking a Compliance and Reporting Analyst to join our Technical Services team. This role involves helping public safety agencies comply with NIBRS standards and ensuring their data is accurate and actionable.
Responsibilities
- Partner with customers to scope and implement state-specific NIBRS compliance requirements within the Mark43 platform.
- Collaborate with agency stakeholders to identify reporting issues, recommend workflow improvements, and resolve data quality challenges.
- Analyze incident and records data to validate compliance with state and federal reporting standards.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Technical Services, Product, and Engineering, to address complex reporting scenarios and improve customer outcomes.
- Aid customers in understanding NIBRS reporting requirements and provide guidance on best practices for maintaining compliance.
- Investigate data discrepancies, document findings, and support customers through corrective actions to ensure accurate reporting.
Requirements
- Professional experience supporting public safety records management, reporting, or compliance initiatives.
- A strong understanding of NIBRS reporting standards and the ability to translate these into practical solutions for customers.
- Experience working across multiple state reporting requirements is highly preferred.
