Compliance and Regulatory Reporting Analyst

Responsibilities
- Work closely with in-house legal department to ensure compliance and regulatory standards are met
- Compile data and submit monthly compliance reports to federal and state regulatory agencies
- Prepare monthly and quarterly excise tax reports
- Communicate with and respond to federal and state auditor requests
- Prepare filings for Secretaries of State and Departments of Revenue
- Monitor cigarette tax stamp purchases, returns, refunds, and credits
- Afford occasional price increase notifications and invoice reports
- Continually assess systems, processes, and previously developed solutions to find opportunities for improvements
- Communicate regularly and effectively with team members and supervisor
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Experience
- Ability to work fluently with Microsoft Word, Adobe, and Excel
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to learn and work within multiple databases and online reporting systems
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical abilities and technical skills
- Typing/Keyboarding; proficiency in using a computer for extended periods
- Bachelor’s degree in related field at a minimum
- Experience with compliance is a plus
